To maintain the attractiveness of the shopping mall, opened in 1996, CentrO Management GmbH commissioned a general overhaul of the Mall. All paintworks were executed in night shifts only, so the daily business was not disturbed.

- ProjectThe precondition for the renovation in 2015 was to disturb the CentrO Oberhausen visitors as little as possible. So, no scaffoldings were used, but all works were executed with cherry pickers. First, about 23,000 sqm of wall and ceiling surfaces were recoated. Secondly, the spacious steel structure of the „Mall“, about 19, 000 sqm, was coated. In addition, 2,200 metres of ventilation grids and about 1,600 steel posts for rails were treated.
